History of Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Born on the third of October, in the year 1981 Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a Swedish football player.He was born to a Croatian mother and a Bosnian father. He started playing football at a very young age of six. He was swapping between FBK Balkan and Malmo BI before he signed his contract. Both FBK Balkan and Malmo BI were junior football clubs in Sweden. His first contract was signed with his home town club Malmo FF in the year 1996. In the year 1999, he moved to Sweden’s flight league Allsvenskan. Closely watching his performance, Arsene Wenger tried to influence Ibrahimovic to join Arsenal, but he failed. Although, the influence of Ajax’s mentor Leo Beenhakkar, did show some positive reactions from Ibrahimovic. Later, as a deal was struck between Malmo and Ajax, Ibrahimovic was relocated to join the Ajax squad for an amount of seven and a half million Euros. He entered the Champions league in year 2002. In this league he scored four goals. His goal against NAC Breda in the year 2004, was titled as the “Goal of the Year”, as the goal was really breathtaking.
On the thirty first of August he was bought by Juventus for sixteen million Euros. In the year 2005, he was awarded the title “Guldbollen” which is the title given for the best footballer for the year. His performance declined after 2005.
After Juventus, Ibrahimovic, signed a contract with Internazionale for a period of four years in the year 2006. He played a centenary Serie A match on the sixteenth of September 2007. His performance was being appreciated again.
On the sixteenth of November, in the year 2008, he announced that he does not prefer to return to Sweden as a player, and would stick to playing for foreign clubs. He won his second “Goal of the Year” award for his goal against Bologna during the season 2008-2009.
